This is my first blog. I always go on yahoo and look up the answers to questions I have about stuff. Not yahoo questions, just yahoo. Today I noticed my 4 month old daughter’s hair started falling out. I went through a similar thing when my son was a baby. I heard that in the womb all babies get black hair, then it falls out and some babies grow lighter hair before they are born and some babies grow dark hair. Then that there are many babies born with their original hair that grew. Both of my kids were born with black hair so it made sense to me, but out of curiosity i looked it up. I typed in “why are some babies born with black hair that falls out later?” Came up with this website on one of the answers list. http://www.npr.org/blogs/newsandviews/2008/08/mixedrace_kids_cuter_but_worse.html All I can say is RACIST!!! I am ashamed in the people that wrote and commented on this. Almost every comment was about what race is better. There were comments from all walks of life and several were very offensive. Well here is a huge problem with our society. Race should not be an excuse for anyone to think they are better that anyone else. Nor should it be an excuse to act out in various ways. Our differences are what make our country unique. We are all here black, mexican, asian, white, european, and so many more. Why can’t we live happily together? I am a far cry from asking for world peace, but is all the racism nessesary? We can all respect where we come from with out disrespecting where others come from. Still can’t stop thinking about that article either. It is as if they are saying if you are mixed you are doomed. I haven’t done much research on who wrote this but in my opinion what was written is veryy uneducated.
